Well, I got a HDTV, finally, so I can actually play HD games now. I have the Wii, but would like something with more graphical-power. I was thinking on getting wither the 360 or the PS3. I'm more inclined to the PS3 for a few reasons:
It has a Blu-Ray player, my freinds (most) have PS3's so I can play online with them, the machine itself seems very reliable, the games seem good and it has free internet.
Now, the 360 has a few things of it's own, I had an XBOX and it was great, so I'm used to the console (sort of), the games at GREAT, the online is amazing, it plays DVD's and has DOA and Project Gotham racing.
Now, the reason why I want a PS3 a bit over the 360 is because, since I live in Venezula, I WON'T be paying for the internet. It's cheap, sure, but it's just not something I'm willing to do, no matter how attractive it is. The games are better, but what's the point of getting a 360 if none of my freinds have a 360? And if they did, they wouldn't have internet.
This is where I want you guys to help me out. I as attracted to the 360 as to the PS3, and I would pick the 360 over the PS3 if I was living in the States, but I have to face certain reality now. I don't live there. The games on both machines seem very similar, graphics too.
So, tell me, am I picking right if I choose the PS3? Don't give me biased opinions like how the PS3 sales are or how the 360 breaks and whatnot. Give me honest insight, it's what I made this topic for.
Thanks in advance to anyone who "guides" me.
EDIT: If someone could also plase let me know a few things:
- Prices for each console
- Bundles in the States (buying the console there)
- Do they come with HDMI cables?
- Does the PS3 come with a Dual Shock 3 or the SIXAXIS?
- THE MORE INFO YOU GIVE ME ON EACH THE BETTER
