Its curious ...the Wii has more than double the userbase of the PS3 and yet its "hot " games sell 25K and 70K versus the 50K of VF5 and you consider it a success and good sales while you considered the VF5 ones lackluster ....

Diomedes - I never thought of that. Fire Emblem was sposed to a system seller. Last time I checked. System sellers need to move more than 'failres'. That's not even looking at the systems. StarcraftManiac - at least 7 of those are made by nintendo. What happens when nintendo has a 6month slump?

Fire Emblem is selling at 70% of the previous game in the series Virtual fighter is selling at 12.5% of the previous game in the series

Kwaad - U could very well be right about that one, usually its te summer periode where nintendo releases nothing. They said they would this generation but i highly doubt it. kber81 - I can see why you're pissed of!... I was in a fanboy mood when i said that. Im sorry! But your reaction of: Blabla, here we go again, doesn't say i was wrong about it, i was overreacting; i agree with u on that 1 but is my observation correct that u can't seem to stand it?!...

I think this is the greatest achievment of PSP in Japan so no need to belittle. It is a huge number even as for DS. Big day for PSP - yes I do know month and year will be owned by Nintendo. Today it's a day of PSP notwithstanding. PEACE.

Well they might release some good stuff in the summer... but seeing the delays, late summer is what Nintendo is looking at. The Sony machine starts now for PS3. But hopefully this is a new trend for the PSP. It'd be nice to see it end the cycle with over 30% market share. If it can do that. The PSP is really, a success.

I think Smash Brothers or Mario Galaxy will come out in summer in Japan. Dragon Quest Swords I imagine will come out in Q2 (May or June) and sell well on Wii for a month or two (ie until July or August when I think either Smash Brothers or Mario Galaxy comes out)

Yup. basically what I expect for software for Wii till holiday. Dragon Quest Swords... I dont know how good it's gonna be, but I dont know if it will be reviewed very well. It's almost like their turning it into an action game... Usually RPG people dont like action games. (duh, their RPG people) and Action people... dont like RPGs. (duh. their action people) so when you put the two together. You have something few from both like.

In Japan, 750k of MHP2 is not so surprised sales beacuse of 500k at first day. (But 100k of PSP is unexpected result for most of them.) Instead the sales of next week is in the picture. Because there are three observation about MHP2. One is the sales continuously go well and total will became more than 200k. Next is the total sales will become 120~150k. Last is the sales drastiaclly declines, and the final sales will be below one million. Which is going to become the correct prediction?
