Sven is correct regarding the file size issue. 43 MB (the believed file size limitation) is just slightly larger than most major N64 releases (32 MB). In fact the only tile on the N64 to surpass that file size was Capcom's own Resident Evil 2 at 64 MB.

Wii download content limit is 320 blocks that is 40 MB ( 1 block = 128 kb )

BTW Pokemon Stadium 2, Conker , Ogre Battle 64 and Paper Mario were on cartridges above the 32MB limit.

So the flash memory of the Wii you can use is only 270 MB of the 512 MB.

On topic: Capcom, what happened? You used to be good.

How many blocks are free at the beginning  ?

Most people that will be buying the game won't be using a standard contol pad anyways.

A lot of people prefer a stick. I don't see why it matters what controler comes with the system, but whatever. I'll buy it for my 360 and by whatever controler I want to play the game with.

I honestly think that Nintendo should start including a revamped Classic Controller with the Wii--one that has rumble features.

Then there'd be no excuse for developers ignoring it for petty reasons.

Also, someone should remind Capcom that Street Fighter Alpha 3 was released on the GBA and the GBA only had four buttons, arguably the same as the "easily usable" on the Wii with nunchuck. And Street Fighter II and Street Fighter Alpha were on the original Game Boy and--HOLY CRAP--that only had TWO buttons.

Way to be lame, Capcom. Way to be.

LOL XDD right Capcom..ofcourse..what do you call tatsunoko vs Capcom?

or the D-pad on the Wii mote? and B and Z/C buttons?

OMFG?! not enough buttons?! ohnoez!!

cuz casualz will totally buy our game..so we NEED to make it Wiimote+Nunchuck combo!

sorry Capcom..you just failed very hard...Classic con..your own stick...those will be used by SF players..not Wiimote and Nunchuck..

you KNOW only your fanbase will buy the game....SF is not a blue ocean game..sorry

Tres - is this the same guy that does nothing but mod that capcom fan forum? Honestly, until someone from the actual dev team speaks up, this isn't really news. A marketing guy isn't going to know his arse from his elbow and will make random crap up. Its been pretty obvious the guy doesn't like anything that the Wii has to offer, but he doesn't have ANY input on the development. He's just a marketing guy. It's like being the waterboy for the Cleveland Indians - relatively useless position that has no bearing on the game.

What Wii owner who WOULD buy SFIV doesn't own a Classic or GC controller

I don't mind being I have a 360 and Hori arcade stick.  But Jesus Capcom are really full of shit here.

This and for the fact that Capcom are in denial. Or perhaps they have a grudge against the wii >_>

well better stop making online games for 360 since less than 100% of them pay for xbox live

I beg your pardon, Capcom?

maybe capcom learned thier lesson not do it again.

You may want to check the game database before making posts like this... Capcom's (rather poorly done) port of Street Fighter II to the Genesis was the #9 lifetime seller on the platform, and Capcom's highest selling game ever on the Genesis. Oops.

On topic, I'm surprised Capcom didn't do a Wii version of Street Fighter 4. Given their stated goal of going back to the roots of the series and bringing in new audiences, it seemed like a natural fit. Oh well, guess we'll see how it works out.
