I also hate Kingdom Hearts, I don't know why LOL, the only reason I'm currently playing KH1 is because there will one on the PSP and a possible KH3 on HDconsole, but I might just drop it cuz I feel I'm just forcing myself...

Square Enix has failed for the last time.

Also i no longer consider the 360 King of JRPG's, its flop after flop with it.

From now 'Tis named __________ 360, dont try to think to hard on the blanked.

My reasons for getting a 360 has waned to almost a none now, and Level 5 is the New Square Enix most likely so im even getting scared for Versus XIII now NOOOOO! WHY!? >_<

 Glad you brought that up. Such dissapointment after members rubbed it in the ps3 fans faces that they were getting all these JRPG's... now I don't want any of them (except maybe ToV)

One reason why MS' E3 was such a "megaton" (i never thought so) was because they  showed 4 JRPGS for the 360... now you got to question if it was ever really that big of an anouncement after SE released 2 terrible to mediocre games and the other one is multiplat (no clue about SO)

Microsoft are to blame here for the rushed condition of IU and TLR.  They made tri-Ace and S-E rush them out to retail before they were ready which is why they are both a technical mess.  SO:TLH on the other hand, looks very polished already even though it doesn't come out for 3 months.  It seems that Microsoft aren't pressuring S-E to release SO:TLH this year.  In fact, I wouldn't besuprised if the game itself was already finished and is up to the "polishing/bug testing" part that IU and TLR were rushed through.  Can you honestly say that it is flop after flop?  The only true flops in JRPGs seem to be IU and TLR as well as a bunch of niche games that only a small group of gamers give a damn about.  Many of the other high profile JRPGs aren't quite as bad.

Well, I don't think that'll be the case. Every PS3 JRPG (outside of 360 port Enchanted Arms) has been great!

The reviews of this game have been WAY too harsh, and I would urge people to at least rent it and make their own opinion.

The graphical problems haven't affected me at all, since I downloaded the game to my hard-drive, so that isn't really an issue for me.

This game, however, can be REALLY frustrating at times. I think the battle system has it's problems. I don't feel there is enough control over the different units, and it is a pain watching your party get wiped out and being powerless to do anything.

The story so far is compelling me to keep playing, and if the ending sucks, well so be it.. seen terrible endings before (Fable 2, Fallout 3)

I agree with the IGN reviewer on the "save anywhere" issue, because I am lazy, and never want to bother saving. Others might not have the same problem.

Either way this game feels like a 7-7.5 to me, maybe some of the reviewers had incredibly high expectation, and are rightfully dissapointed.

I sometimes think that if this would have been a half-assed shooter game, it would have rated at least a 6.5. (They should of called it Gears of Duty: Halo Edition)

1UP actually stated very good reasons why they didn't like the game.  It wasn't just technical issues.  They felt that the battle system was boring and that the story made no sense.  Besides, I personally consider them to be one of the more trustworthy reviewers out there.

I disagree with this based on the idea that your statement leads to your saying Eternal Sonata is "great" which I vehemently disagree with.

ive seen the gameplay on GT. the majority of time u just do battles, and u dont control any chars jus give actions to groups.

the grafix are dire, i saw entire areas go black then pop into view, same with chars.

i wont be buying this
