R.I.P PSU. it just got shut down. well in a few hours it will be back up. but not as Playstation Underground. it will now be Playstation Network, it kind of saddens me as i have been with psu for well going on 7 years now. hope the changes are worth it.

I really think Playstation Underground should be remembered. It was just a cool program, I remember it from the PS1 days getting demos in the mail. Goodbye and Godspeed!

I never knew it still existed. I remember back in the PSone days, filling out a form that came in Crash Bandicoot 3 warped about PSU. They would send me PSone and PS2 disc demos. It was pretty cool. Never heard of them for a long time until now :-/ Great times.

The PSU has not been the same since the launch of Playstation 3. I think this is going to be awsome. It is like Playstation.com is finally moving into this generation. Hopefully Sony won't half-ass this. If they have taken their time, and really planned this out Playstation.com may become a site to drop by every now and then.

thats sad i really enjoyed the service back in the day, the demos got me into all kinds of gaming

well they are unifying their products and services. Now that the PSN is now on the PC, PS3, and PSP Sony covered all aspects they need. Now they will probably be offering another way to by things of the PS Store on the new site. They are already planning on improving those sigs they have. They just needed to fully connect the three platforms above together to better make a detailed sig.

Overall this is a very good move, like I said in another thread, that will improve Sony's brand presence.

Oh, how those demos were cool in the 1990s and early 2000s.
