Whoa whoa whoa. I agree that Eternal Sonata is not within Wii graphical capability, but to say no Wii games come close to ANY 360 games is dumb and completely untrue.

Completely agree that they're two different art styles, but I can still say one looks better than the other. I'll also agree that it's completely a matter of opinion which is why I wouldn't argue with someone who says Gears looks better (though I still might give them reasons why I think one is better than the other ;-p )

Not this again... Your argument is based on Pokemon and Mario having better art, it doesn't mean they look better in terms of graphics. You can say your tastes in art direction tell you that Pokemon looks better than Blue Dragon and I can say my taste says 'hell no'.
Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

No, that's not just art. Not at all. The textures and lighting in Pokemon, SSBB, and SMG are all much smoother, and the level of detail is 100X better. So I don't care if you don't like the style, there is no denying that from a pure technical standpoint those games are much more advanced than the simplistic Blue Dragon effects.

May be a moot point, but the screenshot you showed from Brawl is from a pre-rendered movie...

The movie uses the in-game character models. Smash Bros. aways does that. In fact, Zelda even uses one of her in game moves (identical animation and character model and everything) to arrive on the scene. However, if you insist:
They aren't the same, I don't know why there's an argument. Zelda using one of her moves proving it's in game is about the dumbest argument imaginable. You should show things like these (which still look fine but not the pre-rendered movie quality):
Well let me put it this way: if it is pre-rendered, the in-game model looks just as good if not better:
Yes, lets keep throwing dumb Wii pictures in the threads from people that don't own X360s and HDTVs.
How many of you, arguing that Wii games look better, even own the games your promoting and bashing?
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
