I agree with Eirk Aston. Not because of the whole Wii bias perception thing(okay, maybe a bit), but Wii_gamer just sounds lame. ioi was a far cooler name anyway. Change it back.

who cares about what others think of the site. there are people who still check it because it has the information readily available and no other sites have it. if they don't believe the numbers, they don't have to. it's not like they are paying this site for consultation fee. if they can't be grown up and be unbiased themselves just because of someone's name, then there's nothing anyone can do.

I agree ,an administrator who calls himself Wii gamer and that posts habitually to hype Nintendo products and put in doubt Sony future isnt very serious . Plus ,NIntendo numbers are always treated the optimistic way,X360 numbers are inflated (more than 400K of difference with NPD right now in USA ,more in Europe ..) and Sony numbers are the only ones treated with objetivity and the minimum number comprobable as criterium .

Honestly if you really want to be considered unbiased you need to get rid of the forum. Forum is all about opinion, opinion as always bias. As far as people getting thrown out that are reasonable is just crazy, Kwaad you've been around awhile and people hear you out for the most part, heck many people including myself have given washimul reasonable responses, when he takes time out from staring at Lair screenshots. But let me just say this, I was on Gamespot they released news about ps3 sales, and clearly the facts in the article shown the ps3 selling poorly in Japan(Jan. numbers) yet the article avoided saying that. I didn't take it as bias, I simply looked at them as avoiding hate mail. Yet underneath in the comments, Nintendo fans were annoyed Gamespot didn't draw attention to the low numbers and called the site ps3 lovers. and Sony fans were annoyed the numbers were reported at all, as poor sales numbers should be hid to avoid appearing bias. One actually questioned the reasons for a video games site posting video game sales figures. If people are going acuse a site of bias simply becuase they regularly report sales figures, then no one is safe. Honestly I think everyone is better knowing Admin likes the Wii, come on we all have a favorite system, if he hid his favorite from us, his bias would still be there, but he could hid it from us. I'd like to know up front. Speaking about bias, you notice anyone here that doesn't like the Wii also doesn't like his name, like we all don't know Kwaad and Dimedes1976 are ps3 lovers. And everyone that likes the Wii is fine with his name.(I'm sure you guys would all be saying the opposite if his name was PS3_gamer)

PS3 Lovers !! Really some fanboys choose the words in a very comical way . I do like the PS3 ,for me it is the best plattform of the next--gen ,even if Sony has commited its fair share of mistakes and it has some strong handicaps as the high price .But from there to be a PS3 lover .....for your information I have a Cube ,Xbox ,N64 ,Playstation ,Dremcast (4 of them actually ) ,PSP ,GBA ,PC ,Super Nintendo ,Megadrive ....I have had consoles from all the companies and just as I hated the PS2 because its low-profile hardware(comapred to the Xbox and Cube ) and bad components I like the PS3 for just the contrary reasons .I have a big amount of reasons to like the PS3 ,but I dont need to justify myself about liking it .For me its the best all-round machine ,and it has the greatest potential .And sales-wise I think it will keep its first place (although not by the same degree as the all-conquering PS2 ) and despite Sonys mistakes and high price it will old its own until the price drops .The problem is for those people that cant accept a opinion such as this one without starting to blink and mumble "PS3 lover!Sony lover!" ......grow up a bit .
