I just don't understand all this fear of RROD. I am not defeding piece of crap hardware that is Xbox 360 but it got 3 years warranty on it (which more than what Nintendo and Sony give) with excellent turn around time.

Yes it blow big time when you get RROD and especially when you come to really enjoy the 360 and depend on it for your entertainment but using RROD as reason not to get 360 eventhough there's games you want to play.

I have DS broke on me, Wii motes that went bongo after a month. That didn't stop me from enjoying them. Never have a problem with my PS3 but I do read some horror story about dead blu-ray however that didn't stop me from enjoying it.

The numbers from others this week shows that the RROD fear is residing, or never really existed.

That's what my friend told me, which is part of the push I needed to buy one! =D I got the 360 Arcade and got an external 120gb hdd for cheap, so that was great. I also got loads of other stuff to go along with it, like a wireless headset and whatnot.

Thanks for all the nice replies, guys! I can't wait until Wednesday, haha! I get Thursday and Friday off this week for Thanksgiving break, so it's perfect timing to get into the 360! You guys can add me (Sartified) if you want, and I'll accept your friend requests. I'm still new to the system and I haven't really taken the time to get the hang of it, so I don't know how to send requests to any of you. xD

I think I'll pass on COD4 and 5 and I'll just wait for COD6 to come out, unless of course you guys really think it's worth it for me to buy 4 or 5.

 cod 4 and 5 are great games its up to you.

Just so you know, the only way to get the free month of Xbox Live is to create your gamertag on the Xbox 360 itself. So you won't be able to get it under you "Sartified" tag. Plus, even if you did get the free month and used the 12 month card, your total would be 13 months whether you did it 1 day into your free trial or 28 days.

So if you want that free month, you'll have to create a new tag on your Xbox when you get it.

congrats, there are alot of games to play now,

I recommend Gears 2, Fallout 3, and Left4dead- although I am yet to play the last one.

Maybe I will pick it up soon.
