considering the price of the system and the bad press around the PS3 AND the sales numbers, it is obvious PS3 is not a big success.
Many of Sony fan who would have bought it the day one, couldn't have dont it cause of the too high price.
At the opposite, the Wii is cheap so every nintendo fan can buy his Wii.
For the Xbox360, the console is cheapier than the PS3 (even if more expensive than Wii), is here since 2 year now (a lot of time to save money and get one), and possess a lot of good games.
I'm sure a lot of Halo fan have already bought it.

It'll be pretty hilarious if it falls in the 'dead zone' of -18k to -1k where no one predicted. I was gonna put my vote there but as I said I was compelled to complete the 5k spacing of 0, 5, 10, etc. up to 50.

I have no idea if it will make a big difference, but i already know 10 friends who have recently bought/ are buying a 360 because they have halo 3 already preordered.  That honestly doesnt mean shit, cuz experiences differ, but i havent see any talk about buying a Wii or PS3 because of some game thats coming out, so it could be interesting, maybe, we will just have to wait and see.

All I know is that 12am on 9/25 can't come soon enough. I'm dying to play this game and with the ending floating around the intraweb, I have to be extra wily to avoid it.

I only HEARD about the leaked ending today, and I don't think it'll be hard to avoid being force-fed it. 

As for the wait, I still have MP3 to finish, and after that I can go back to obsessing over RE4.
