Gex should be ranked among the worst up there, and I'am amazed at Monster Hunters score.....That's completly unfair considering how many people hear have not even touched the game let alone seen gameplay videos.

Still, the game wasn't valid from the start as Suikoden wasn't there (I'd have it eliminated it even before Zelda). Well, I least I was able to keep for some time both DQ and Halo in the list

Gex is among the worst, there's only 11 more hated franchises left. And I don't think Monster Hunter was ever heavily +'d, it just took a long time for anyone to eliminate franchises they love and finally get around to giving it -'s

 

Madden and Halo have probably seen the most +'s out of any franchise, obviously Halo has just seen more -'s too.

And it's extremely unlikely any franchise not on this list would've been eliminated before TLoZ.  It went out in the first 13 votes in the first 2 hours of the game.

Monster Hunter and Assassin's Creed were basically ignored for almost the entire game. I don't remember any (+) votes on them; it's just that nobody bothered to try to eliminate them.
