Actually I am going to go ahead and lock this thread. Not just because of the nature of it, but because there's already a thread about this topic that ISN'T trollish.

List illustrates the reality that the others have way better line ups. Its also alot like the last gen, 4/5 quality titles on the GC was all you got not much difference this gen on the wii. But you can always count on those 4/5 to be really great. Its just PS3 ad 360 will have alot more great titles. But wii is half the price that should be some comfort. If you wan the most great games, wii is not the console for you.

You can't judge final quality without playing those games, ther is many games on the Wii that are promising. Having no interest in those games doesn't mean they are crap.

As you can see only the exclusive interest me on the PS3, many multi-platform games between PS3 and 360 goes on my 360 list and I have more Games on the Wii that interest me, does that mean that I think the Wii has more quality game ? No they have all the same amount of quality game for me, but the Wii is more about the quantity of exclusive. The two others had few exclusives with and many multiplatform games. Does it change something, not really. It's only depend of your opinion.

You can say that you think that it lacks quality game because they don't interest you, but don't the console is not for gamers because "YOU" think there are no good games on the console, because it's not true.

Not suprising that an E3 article would say PS3 has better games, after all it pretty well understood that they had a better showing at the expo this year.

I see that the list makes no mention of Metroid Prime 3, Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Umbrella Chronicles, Medal of Honor Heros 2, Civ: Revolution, MySims, Donkey Kong Barrel Racing, Wii Fit, Mario Strikers, or any other game on Wii for that matter.

The fact that they gave best fighting game to VF5 should clue you in. (I know SMBB wasn't at E3). They also didn't have best platforming game, or best FPS, (they decided to throw that genre in the Action/Adventure category from the looks of it). They also grouped social, casual & puzzle together and gave the award to a game that you will need to spend a couple hundred dollars on in perripherals just to make the fullest use of the software. (Definately not casual). They also decided arbitrailly that the Rock Band peripherals deserved to win over at least 3 peripherals offered by Nintendo that have recieved more praise from the rest of the online gamming comunity (gamespot, IGN, ect.)

I could nitpick this list all night its that bad. This list lacks cred and so does the site it came from.

Everyone has their own taste, quite honestly I only really buy and play through the 'must must have' games.

For me there is 2 Xbox 360 games that fit this category for ME - Halo 3 and maybe PGR4
I wouldn't mind playing some of the others but that's not enough to justify a purchase for me at the current price.

For me there is 3 PS3 games that fit into the must must have for ME - MGS4, Killzone 2 and RE5
There are others that I would more like to play than on the 360 and I MUST have and player KZ2 and MGS4 so the PS3 is looking much better for me.

For me there is 5 Wii games that fit into the must must have for ME - Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Smash Bros Brawl, NiGHTS, Zack and Wiki
There aren't many others that I would like to play that much of, although there are some i'd like to try.

For me there are 7 PC games that fit into the ultimate must have for ME - Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, Fallout 3, Crysis, HL2 Ep2, Company of Heroes Expansion, Starcraft 2
Some of these are console available also but PC is more powerful and runs at a higher resolution and is better for me for all of these games and plenty more games that I would like to play that are cross platform also.

In the end the PC remains my favourite gaming source with Wii then PS3 coming in next. It's all a matter of opinion, but there are a lot of good 'hardcore' games on the consoles, but honestly those 'lists' used are pretty 'constructed' they don't represent the best games that really matter on each platform. If I was to knuckle it down to think what the games that deserve listing as the 'big games' are as follows
