I saw in this weeks ads a X360 Premium 60GB HDMI + Indy + Kung Fu Panda for 2390 SEK. That's about the same as a Wii with no extras. Or half of what the PS3 80GB LBP bundle costs.

That's pretty aggressive pricing.

Even with that price it cant convince me buying it.

Here in Holland it's €199 for the Pro with Indy and KFP. Wii is €250.

Here you can get arcade 149€ (Same price as DS)

I wonder if 360 is profitable with all these discounts. Probably is.

I don't think MS pays for these discounts. I do think the fact that we're seeing more 360 sales than PS3 (I know because I'm looking for a good PS3 deal) indicates the 360 margins are better for retailers.

In UK Wii = £180, 60Gb 360 = £170 (or maybe 180 also).

Pro w/ 2 games is going to be $239.99 after a $60 gift card is included in the bundle from Target for Black Friday.

Ender - You are correct. 2 years ago (Christmas 06), retailers were including $100 gift cards on the Premium X360s. Stuff like this happens, because retailers know that the people are going to use the gift cards to buy high-markup items like the games themselves. So a $60 discount ends up being a $30 discount.
