Forums - Gaming Discussion - The NXE kills 360s, the confidential 360 source was right

    http://www.engadget.com/2008/11/20/nxe-hitting-360s-with-red-ring-freezing-and-sorta-sexy-avatar-i/

As per the engadget article linked above, the 360 NXE is causing way more problems then it was supposed to text below

If you wouldn't mind looking up from that avatar creation screen for a second -- yes, we're aware of how much that t-shirt selection means about you as a person -- you might notice that your Xbox 360 is dead. At least, a few hapless souls on the Xbox forums seem to think NXE is to blame for such atrocities. Numerous folks are reporting variously bad red ring configurations, random freezing and a huge pile of blockbuster titles that won't just play themselves. The biggest problem is that Microsoft isn't universally treating problems caused by NXE as an "oh, our bad" sort of situation, and at least from anecdotes we're seeing has charged quite a few folks $100 to fix their freshly-out-warranty Xbox 360s -- not to mention separating them for weeks from their precious murder simulators.

So yah, MS douchebaginess strikes again.  They release the NXE right after warranties end because they know it crashes machines.  It causes things to break down from games not working through the red ring of death.  I really hope they get creamed in that pending law suit.  I can't believe that they are charging 100 dollars for 360s broken by their crappy update.  MS is continuous fail with 2 strong competitors, imagine how bad things would be if they had the market to themselves.

a similar article on gamespot. In an "un-scientific survey" they found that every single Gamespot editor who applied the NXE update had problems, freezing or worse.

GameSpot = biased confirmed? o_O

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Is there really an NXE RROD problem? If so why haven't we heard more fuss?

Around the Network

Do a search for RROD and NXE. You will find hundreds of articles about it from a multitude of sources, many of them usually pro 360.

Even www.xbox360fanboy.com has numerous articles about the NXE not working right, especially with Netflix.  It's confirmed, 360 fanboy is in the tank for Sony and Nintendo!

I know that I personally haven't had a problem with it--the 360 actually seems (a little bit) quieter and cooler with it.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

I'm searching all sites of people affected and articles about it, yet i still don't find anyone that uses this phrase:

"The New RROD Experience"

So i'm declaring it mine, if only i had the site ready to use it... work in progress...

been playing all day today and no redring.. have launch 360 too

Will my 360 break for the third time cause of this update...?

Anyway I don't know if this is all bullshit or not but if it isn't I wouldn't be surprised considering the the console quality of the early 360s (great games though).

Damn it microsoft why do I keep going back to you even after all the times you let me down.
