The countdown is on! With only 620,000 units seperating them and Wii selling around 200,000 units per week more than 360 worldwide we should see total Wii sales pass Microsofts console in around 3 weeks time! So in 9 months Wii will have sold as much as it took Xbox360 to sell in 21 months! The question then is whether PS3 can pass the 360...

Yea it's gonna take 4 weeks though. Wii will sell more than 620k in 3 weeks, in fact more like 750-850k but that doesn't take into account the fact that 360 sells consoles too.

There should be slight bumps in the regular Wii sales rate due to Strikers and Metroid, but 4 weeks seems right to me too. Ignore the sig prediction, I think I'm going to be off by a couple days.

The Wii should outsell the XBox 360 by September 22, which just happens to be the last day of summer; I believe there was someone who had the prediction that the Wii would outsell the XBox 360 by the end of summer ...

100k?  When did that happen?  Lately Wii has been selling about 230-250k per week while 360 is 50-60k.  Everything is pointing toward 4 weeks.  All Wii has to do is outsell it by 155k for 4 weeks to get the exact number.  That is easily within reach.

looks like it is going to be broken Aug 18th, of course those numbers won't be updated on the site for a while after the 18th.

a console with just a few good games killing the 360, and their big guns are yet to come, it's safe to say that Nintendo has taken back it's top spot.

BTW Sept 22nd is 9 weeks away as far as vgcharts goes.
