I just wish people knew what they were talking about before actually, you know, talking. They're Super Soilders, hence their bulk. If you look at the other Gears, like Carmine, his brother, the Cog army, the females in the game or the ambassador, you would know not everyone is like that. Also, the main characters aren't too excessively bulky. Just right.

Also, we're talking about sales and hype, not character design.

The OP also mentioned "art style". I think character design would fall into that category. Of course the females don't look bulky, it's a stereotype aimed at males. Supersoldiers or not, I can't stand the over-emphasis on machismo and the huffing and puffing in gears...that's just me. Millions bought the game and love the way it is, why are you bent out of shape because I have a bad opinion? For everything that has fans, there will be detractors.

I know, I'm saying that it's not directed at every male in the game, just Marcus and his squad, and Hoffman.

It won't sell as well as GoW but based on the beta it'll be at least as good.

If Killzone 2 fails to sell as well as the first GeoW then the Playstation userbase is a failure.

Most likely KZ2 won't sell even half of what GOW2 will sell. But that is not too bad. :)

Shooters always sell better on 360 because Microsoft has done a good job converting many PC gamers who as we know love their shooters. That being said I do think Resistance 2 is better then gears 2 both single and multiplayer. Killzone 2? Looks better then Crysis.

You can consider that a failure, because it ain't happening, for 2 reasons:

1) GeoW  launched during the Holiday season

2) GeoW had massive advertising, whereas I doubt Killzone 2 will have any decent advertising.

I just hope it turns out to be good.
