I own a 360 and a Wii and believe me, I'd much faster buy RE5 for the Wii than for the 360. Then I'd watch the legendary title screen on youtube.

Well, this is Nintendo's gambit-- choosing a disruptive input mechanism over HD graphics. It may affect them later on, not in terms of sales, but the kind of games that will appear on the Wii.

Game programmers would probably want to program on machines that'll show lots of bells and whistles with (relatively) lesser effort.

We'd like to think "Oh, it's their loss if they don't make game xxx on Wii". But, somehow, they don't care. After all, some of these developers are doing pretty well in HD machines, anyway.

What a pity, Capcom supported the GCN much better last gen than on the Wii.

true, after playing RE4 on Wii, i'll feel very stupid to play RE5 by just using buttons....

RE4 on Wii is awesome, and Capcom is very stupid not to bring to Wii one of the only core games that sell so good on Wii..

If all trestres wants to do is play games (not download games, videos, demos, etc..) then the Arcade SKU is enough, since it comes with a 512 MB MU.

Not surprised. I would expect rehashes of previous Resident Evil's, maybe another Umbrella Chronicles given Capcoms (and other's) attitude toward Wii.
