Even with a holiday push they aren't going to more than double their current sales (of course I also don't think Nintendo isn't going to hit their 20 million mark by years end so factor that in however you want).

I dont think so .If everything comes along well (pack and price cut for holydays ,even in the clearance sale way ) then it could arrive to 8 or 8.5 million .Maybe a little bit more .But no way 11 .

Almost impossible. They might not even have that many shipped.

Shipped?! YES, by March 2008. Just like they said in their financial statements...

Sold to retailers?! YES... Sony WILL make sure it reaches 11 mil so the masses (People who don't follow sales) think the PS3 is selling good (Just as above, by March 2008).

Sold to customers?! I think it would be closer to half of that estimate. Just to make a short story even shorter: NO... NO... NO... NO! Everyone who disagrees is blind. 

And btw: How can a system sell 11 mil units to customers or retailers in 2007 if Sony says they will only ship 11 mil units in the period leading up to MARCH 2008?!... Tell me that!

The number was 11 million for the fiscal year. So from now till March 08. It's doable.

Ok i never actually said they would sell 11million.

I said that they would sell 9-10million simply because 1.look at the line up of exclusives.2.Europes first PS3 Christmas.If they sell 1-2million between now and Holiday season(this is a push but it might happen with boosts from games)then sell about 3.5-5million during Christmas most being in Europe because its the first Christmas for PS3 here.Then they will reach atleast 8.5million-11million(this number is more than they are shipping this year so that cant happen).

FFXIII more like early 09 unless they work their @ss's off between now and September 08 so its in time for Holiday08.
