I think that's a bit early to call. This is the third animal crossing since the gamecube days, and has almost zero changes in that time.

Harvest Moon has had...I have no idea how many iterations over lord knows how many platforms since the SNES days. there is considerable variance and nuance in the different harvest moon games that have evolved ALOT since the SNES game without ever losing what made it great (the farming and marriage aspects), they never "fixed it" so to speak.

I don't think there is enough of AC for their to be a dedicated and knowledgable "connesiuer" fanbase of AC players.

Not buying this then, I already own the GC version :(

I never expected very high scores for AC. Maybe the reviewers have been playing the same kind of game and they just give preference to shooters or cinematic mumbo jumbo.

I'll definitely going to buy that game. It is already in my wish list this xmas ^^
