Well that global warming is man-made anyway. All the non combustion fuel won't do crap if meat production stays the same... and bad news. Meat production is on the rise as more countries get richer, because well. Meat just tastes better.

but global warming is total crap. I'll believe it when i see it. I believe theres too much pollution and fuel/energy efficient items are a good thing, but theres no global warming.

Good thread. I dunno but global Warming could actually be real.

The day I heard about that 3 years ago, I switched to soy-milk and sped up my becoming a vegetarian goal. I still eat meat, just very little, though never pork since the amount of shit (pig shit is so awful that it doesn't qualify for the term manure) per pound of consumable meat is terrible.

Denying Global Warming is a conservative/oil company myth so we just keep using more and more oil and keep generating their record profits.

While I think that stuff should be done to increase efficiency and use of alternative fuels should be looked at, it is not the most important think. First sort out the global economy, then you can invest some money in green energy

It is true, the industrialisation of the meat industry contributes to global warming. But the amount is insignificant in comparison to other factors of global warming. Also some animals that have a low methane output such as sheep and kangaroos (people do eat kangaroos, I've had it) so meat farming isn't hypocritical in a broader sense.

I do not believe global warming is caused entirely by humanity. I am not a vegetarian, but I consume massive quantities of tofu, Boca burgers, and other Boca products. I am doing my part to solve a crisis that may not have a solution.
