I find interesting how this game in particular has been chosen by many to be a 3rd party wii 'core' audience measurement, which is not what it is exactly but im quite interested myself as i think it will be a good indicator of the current FPS fan user base on wii.. if its big(500k + first week, 1.5m + lifetime) it could turn a few things around..lets all keep in mind this game is only a fraction of the cost of a similar HD project..

Could only be a good thing if it succeeds especially if it deserves it.

Medal of Honor was great, and so was Call of Duty: World at War. Why are we all still so hyped for The Conduit? It seems to me that half the love for the game is from High Voltage sweet-talking the Wii userbase, despite having delivered a bunch of crap so far (on the Wii, and on other consoles). The game could be very good, with both high reviews and sales. However, this hype is just ridiculous. I've seen plenty of Wii fans lambast PS3 fans for overhyping their games, but then they turn around and MAKE THE SAME DAMN MISTAKE. I'm actually glad that there are so many modest predictions, but, you know what? I'll probably just take the thread creator's prediction and base every Wii owner's opinion off of it. Doesn't seem too different from what Wii fans do all the time.

Reviews: It could end up being a good game averaging in the low 80% @ gamerankings and metacritic, but i don't see it as a AAA game, if we go by those low standards, then the HD consoles have a shitload of AAA shooters.

Sales: I see this game hitting 1 million max lifetime, there aren't many true shooters in the Wii.

You heard it here first

People will get so disappointed, when they really think The Conduit will sell one million in its first week. Be realistc: There are four games on the Wii that sold one over one million copies in week one (Wii Fit, Mario Kart, Smash Bros. and Mario Galaxy). These are big names and none of those games will be knocked out by The Conduit.

You are dreaming sir. Check CoD, MoH performance on the Wii and be awere those are established franchises. It won't sell more than Metroid. No way. It will spectaculary bomb (relatively to your expectation) and everyone here will cry over quality product being overlooked on the platform lol

BTW It even doesn't look decent. C'mon people Wii can do more... or not?
