And when it flops, Wii will be a laughing stock, people will point and say "see that's why there are no hardcore games on Wii" and publishers are going to be even more cautious about big-budget games for our little white console. Whose fault is this? so you're saying you're a wii owner, right?
Yours. You decided to hold one single game up as our only hope of FPS gaming. You decided to talk about The Conduit as if it were the next Half Life or Gears of War. since when gears of war was graet shooter? it has solid online that's all
Just sober up for a second, stop looking at the screenshots, and consider who is making this game.
Here's a list of AAA games High Voltage has made:
(crickets)
Guerilla Games AAA list: NONE, NADA, ZERO, NULL. just some craptastic shooters and license games and killzone psp that is average game and yet people are hyping killzone 2 like it is going to be next Goldeneye.
Here's a list of FPS games High Voltage actually made original content for:
HVS makes bad games, not the worst - I'm sure they're one or two steps above shovelware, but they're bad.
and you don't see that they were making only licensed games ordered by publishers? ok so now let put aside developers past and all the hype created only by wii owners(not publisher/developer kind of hype we see with ps360 games that make gta4 looks like next Tim Shafer game) conduit won huge amount of awards for its E3 demo and presentation , they released gyrorstar that scored pretty high in most reviews. HVS is making this game thanks to their own money so how they would want to release a crappy or even average game?
And yes, it's true they're making an honest attempt to become a legit gaming company. They've done some great things graphically and control-wise. They're putting their hearts into this game, but come on, it's their first real try, and putting all of your Wii hopes into this one game is RETARDED.
Not convinced? Consider the latest hands-on preview:

Our beef? That it plays like a glorified tech demo.
A corridor facility that culminates in our hero, Mr. Ford, delivering some gun justice to explosive barrels. Once more with feeling: explosive barrels.
Hell, even Samus’ dull bit – the genero Olympus – had the decency to give us space battles to watch through the windows. There are no windows in corridor world.
...level design that would make Doom 64 snicker.
Save your hopes for when Valve decides to do that Wii project. We all know this platform has everything needed to create the best console FPS, just don't judge it by an over-hypped, cliche-ridden game from an unknown developer.
