Forums - Gaming Discussion - Best console games every made

1. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for Wii
2. Super Mario World for SNES/GBA/VC
3. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for GCN

Really, really, really good.

My favorite game of all time is on the PC though, even though there are console versions, only the PC version is good.

Infact, a lot of my favorite games are on the PC

P.S. I consider TP and TWW to be the best Zelda games BY FAR. None of the others, even though I really like them, come even close.

Top 3 favorite games: Super Mario Galaxy, The Sims 2 (PC), The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I'd be tempted to put Suikoden II on my Top, but I hated the army battles with a passion. I love the series, but hate those battles so much. So much. Repeat Ad Naseum.

I'm going to Ignore Leo, and do it one per console, hard as it may be:

NES - Mario Bros 3
SNES - FF VI
Genesis - Eternal Champions
PS1 - Team Buddies (I didn't play many PS1 games, but this has very very fun multiplayer)
N64 - Mario 64
Ps2 - FFX
Xbox - Halo 2
GC - Baten Kaitos, Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean
Wii - Trauma Center
PS3 - Resistance, Fall of Man

See Ya George.

"He did not die - He passed Away"

At least following a comedians own jokes makes his death easier.

Tetris Attack (SNES, Panel de Pon and Puzzle league are good, but the animation of the blocks makes the SNES one the best in my book)

Final Fantasy VII (PS1, No game has ever had a story and presentation (combined) to get me so involved. Even when I play it today, it touches me. Sappy but not too sappy. The chararcter seem real, and have depth)

Mario64 (N64, this was a hard choice 1 and 3 are so good, but 64 is the one that I still play the most. The best 3d level design on any platformer still holds up. Why games don't copy the lay out and physics boggles my mind. The only 3d platformers that come any where close are Banjo 1 and 2)

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

This is really hard!

Ok I love the 16bit-era so:

1. Super Metroid SNES (the masterpiece)
2. Legend of Zelda- A Link to the Past SNES (the best Zelda by far)
3. Street Fighter 2 SNES ( I need a dose every day, thank god for Virtual Console)
