 Fine, I'll wait for more reviews. But I doubt they'll differ much. When the general opinion is that this game average/mediocre, then I see my skepticim rather justifiable.

Lol at your 2nd post. What are you gonna do? Americans love them some shooter and RPG fans love SE. You can almost always expect a good review for any these games if their is hyped built up for them.

 

Yea but it's just not justice that they pick and choose various games every now and then to tackle on the "not being original" and a lot of time it's the wrong titles to pick.  It's just not justice and not to complain but it's not fair.  If they are going to do it to one they should do it to all but they wouldn't dare do it to games like GTA or Gears of War or Halo or Final Fantasy.  Oh of course not.  It's why I just don't respect many reviewers anymore because they just don't rate the game based on THAT game.  Always got to compare it to something else.  Comparisons should only come into play when you are trying to review this as a AAA game.

IGN lost it. I used to respect their reviews, but not anymore. They're full of bashing and nitpicking, it's not even funny. Sure, I haven't played the game, but just by reading what he says and guessing his voice tone, you can assume he's being anal.

I'm going to buy this game, anyway.

Meh, I was expecting bad score and honestly it deserved them. If the they decided to revisited the symphonia world I want a true sequel to ToS not the is piece of shit. I'm glad I didn't have to waste my money on it(Horray for fanatic Japanese speaking Game importing friends, who will translate the game for you as you play =D)

I can't believe I just abshed a "Tales of" game especially considering how much I love the series but It had to be done the game isn't that good at all.

Is it a Mothership title?

Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

I don't really see anything 'wrong' with the game from this review other than it's an RPG and some of the stuff went over his head so he's going to be pissy about it.

the game deserved it and stop crying. I posted about the game when I first played the JP version and it deserved a 6 or a 7 at best.
