IGN Developed by Amsterdam-based Guerrilla, Killzone PS3 is a military first-person shooter that builds upon the 2004 PlayStation title. A non-linear and intensely cinematic gameplay experience that combines elements from multiple genres, Killzone thrusts players even deeper into the conflict between the ISA and Helghast. Set in a rich and highly interactive world, the game aims to set the benchmark for facial and character animation, advanced physics, destructible environments, sound and special FX. Combining on-foot and vehicle combat across air, land, and sea, with both off-line play and a customizable on-line portion, Killzone should be one of the premier shooters of the next-generation.
That seems... different I dont recall seeing anything 'public' about what is said there. I'm curious if that's been there forever, old news or if I'm just getting senile. Vehicle combat across air, land, and sea. SEA! Killer.

No retard they said that about killzone and it sold like poo.

After the problems of the first one you would think the devs would focus on delivering just a solid experience. Instead they seem to be biting off more than they can chew.

so sensitive. stupid questions deserve stupid responses. it has Sea combat shit it's now a bonafide halo killer

Well I tell you. I really enjoyed the Sea combat in FarCry. I think it was my favorite aspect of the game. So actually. If it gameplay in Killzone is smooth, fluid, and enjoyable. It will blow Halo3 out of the water. In my books... Games like BREED blew Halo2 out of the water. Who knows what BREED is?

I didn't like Halo that much and I still don't understand why it was so highly praised. Character design was graphically good, environments were mediocre. Two things bad about characters: 1. They were not believable (the screaming little wackos for example) and 2. they were not believable (why the hell would all the aliens in far space have 2 eyes, 1 head, 2 feet, 2 arms etc.). Then there was the simplicity of the game. Why go and kill everyone in the way with conventional weapons and not use nuke?
