Reasons

1. Grahpics are suposed to be exaclty like the one teaser we've seen!

2. You kill all the gods! all out epic war! (if they make like a side level u can play online where u all u do is pick a god or titan and fight eachother in massive open battlefields the game will be un beatable)

how many copies do you guys think it will sell on launch and lifetime

My prediciton is Launch 1.5million and Lifetime 6 million.

I agree with number 2, will be a great game. But we wont see CGI like graphics this generation on consoles. GOW games don't actually sell to great, I expect 4M LTD max.

The odds of God of War 3 selling anywhere near 6 million lifetime are slim to none. The last two games combined don't have 6 million between them and GoW is almost entirely sold to that knowledgeable gamer demographic, as can be seen by how terribly number 2 sold after the current generation systems arrived. My guess is 2.5-3 million lifetime, with a bit more if it gets bundled.

1. Graphics are expected to be good on any game coming out. Unless this somehow affects gameplay positively, it's just going to be eye candy that will wear off after a moment.

2. I couldn't agree more about this. I hope this is the final game so they go buckwild with Gods and Titans all being massacred by Kratos.

This is the only franchise that has came out this gen...that I've actually hated. When this game starts to materialize, and all the fake "wow zomg" posts pop up...this game is gonna cause me more arguments on this forum then all the ones I've had so far combined.

Read my sig, God of Puzzle ftl. I hate the series, it's only recognized as "good" because the main character has a great personality, and the story is good. The freakin' block puzzles suck, the combat sucks, jumping sucks, and it's boring, repetitive, and over-long, despite its short length.

I'd rather play DMC....2 than any GoP game. I hate, hate, hate it. HATE! I don't care if the graphics are like looking into the face of God. Quick-time event boss battles and block puzzles make Zen a dull boy.


That said, yes, I hope it sells well, because while I really don't care about the game, I care less about its sales, and if they can make someone happy, then fine, whatever.

This isn't something I've came up with since I've become a 360 fanbaby. This is something that I always believed, when i was a Wii fanbaby, and a PS3 fanbaby, and while I'm still a PS2 fanbaby. Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate. Dire, vile, hatred of the damned.

well they could release a god of war 1 and 2 special enhanced version for the ps3 then create the god of war movie and then finnaly heavily advertise god of war 3. i was going to put 5 mil a most but was like... well seeing as how gears managed to pass 5 mill wth y not :)

Gears is a shooter. They sell well. God of War is a hack n' slash game. They do not tend to sell as well. Don't confuse the matter just because they share initials.

Also the amount of resources it would take to HDify GOD 1&2 wouldn't be worth it in my eyes unless they can use it to substantially reimagine the gameplay. God of War is already a great looking game. Also I cringe at the thought of it being a movie.

When you say look like babies, what is it you exactly mean? How can a game look like a living, breathing human being that is presumably less than a year old?

Well Zen considering all Ive seen from you is hate for anything on a playstation console, its not suprising to see you talk that way(yes All you post when it comes to a playstation system is "negativity").

Anyway: yet another game that will curse me to buy a PS3. Curse you, Kratos!
