Wow, what a great game. It had a few technical issues. Floating objects a few times, some frame rate issues when it would auto-save, but aside from that, it's amazingly impressive.

I don't want to give any spoilers, so I won't. I will only say this. If R2 has on this game is scale, then R2 has nothing. This game has amazing scale.

I won't go any further into it then that.

I am going to start playing R2 now, and tell you all what I think about each in comparison.

Gears campaign > R2 campaign.

As a matter of fact, Gears2 campaign > all other shooter campaigns in this gen. (IMO)

Gears 2 was great, but not better then Bioshock, MGS4 or Uncharted.

I hear Halo 3 had a good story too. No clue however, as I have never played it (only MP over at friends houses).

Halo 3 has the most boring, droning, and absolutely uninspired campaign I've ever seen in any game. Then again, I felt the same way about the last 2 Halo games (even more so) and I don't play enough shooters to make a comparison. Gears of War 2 looks really fun, and it only pains me knowing how I'll have to choose with all the big games coming out during the holiday season.

What did you think of the story of the campaign? Is it good or it is NOT good?

Depends on your definition of story.

if you mean how would it of made a book? Not that deep. If you mean how fun was it to play and see? VERY!

Ever play a game where you say to yourself "I wish I could do that"? Well, in this game, you get to do all those things you wish you could do.

all the environments are different. Gone is the complete gray look. Some have a lot of color. Some have less color ;)

The game is just a blast to play, one thing about the story though:

If you are looking to Gears 2 to wrap things up, don't. There will need to be at least a Gears 3.

I would say that the Halo 3 campaign was rubbish, and so far, the Gears 2 one has been good... but not that great

I was not that impressed with the first half of act 3. It seemed exactly like a level in the first Gears, and it did not have very enjoyable gameplay. I have also spent far too much time underground for my liking, they also like splitting the squad up far too much.

Story has been decent, but again I think I slightly missed a cut scene or anything

Anyway I am at the start of Act 4, and it is a very good game, but not quite at Uncharted levels for me!
