But still, what are the details of the changed requirements?

they probably now have to click a box saying they own/played the game :rolls eyes:
Maybe they should open up reviews to other things aside from pretty much UK - US only reviews...
That's good, metacritic gets a +1 from me for trying to address and fix the issue.
I think they should have like a 5 or 10 question quiz. If your can score 100% in only one try, then you can review the game. It should not be that big of a deal to awnser a few questions if you have played the game all the way through. If you are reviewing a game and you can't awnser some obvious points at the beggining middle and end then you should not be reviewing.
They should also stop people from reviewing well before the game launches. It may even be smart to have a one week delay on reviews. That way the hype can die down, and fanboys will be focused on the next battle in line.
Even though I never visit this site, and reviews are not my thing. I hope that this gets fixed, because it is this foolishness that can hurt the industry in a small way. A normal person may actually get turned off by that, and that is bad for all of us.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

^That's a good idea KGB but it also would be costly in both time and financially. Not to mention once they figure out the answers they could leak them, the amount of time spent into the questions wouldn't be worth how easily it could be stopped. I agree they should definitely stop reviewing before game launches.
User rating of games are largely meaningless. They should just drop them all together.
At least make them wait till it's released :/
That may not do much, but whatever.

To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made. I won't open my unworthy mouth.
