*Shakes head* As a PS3 supporter, this is the reason why ps3 supporters have a bad rep here. Because of pathetic threads like this. He's just being mad that Gears 2 has better reviews. Maybe Gears is a better game?

I am right there with you original poster. I just say the review on N4G.
First off the damn reviewer talks about how the game was improved over the first one. He says the story is good.

Where he criticizes the game is the fact that it has replaced it's weapon wheel with the standard 2 weapon hub. Ok, COD4, COD5, Gears of War, GoW2,etc all use this method....but in some wierd way this is a minus when we start talking about Resistance 2?????

It also says that the game's single player is predictable because of the perfectly placed weapons whenever needed. HA! Bullshit!!!! The first game did the SAME GOD DAMN THING! AS DO ALL SHOOTERS. If an enemy can only be killed by a bazooka becuz of it's size, the game creator cannot chance the idea that you no longer have a bazooka otherwise you will not be able to defeat it.

Evedince C: in the listing of where the game stands in graphics, presentation, etc the game seems to have glowing remarks.....but some how it equals to a 8.5????

GI is officially dead to me. They are seemingly in MS's pocket like other big name reviewers (1UP, Gamespot, 1/2 IGN, Im lookin at you).

whoever thinks GI hates the PS3 is not in touch with reality. They hate the Wii more than cancer, the devil, wars, Hitler, etc.

Man....the reviews start coming in and people lose their minds. R2 is an amazing game, and one I wish that I had the pleasure of playing. These PS3 games keep giving me more and more reasons to buy one, with games like R2, LBP, MGS4, ect.

When LBP was getting 10. and 9.5's (deserving) people were all over it. R2 starts getting a few 9's and 8's and it's "GI is biased, I hate them" as well as "1up is crap" and lets not forget....here's looking at you foreverclud3000, "They are seemingly in MS's pocketbook, blah, blah, 1/2 of IGN, and, and, and, Gamespot".

Oh, and who pays the price.....thats right,....Gears 2. Perhaps the game really is as good as people say it is....just like they said it was for MGS4, and LBP. Sheesh.....this is just sad!!

So who cares, if it's going to get some 8. It's still going to outdo it's predecessor, everyone got hyped by ign, and sony fans are going crazy.
