Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

@CAL4M1TY

I don't boycott companies. I do boycott sh*tty games though. I'm not passing up Tenchu IV just because Ubisuck has the US publishing rights. I didn't let the Ubisuck label stop me from buying No More Heroes either. I am glad that Marvelous/XSEED is publishing NMH2 themselves though.

I don't think anyone expected Double Time to be any good. It was basically the result of Ubisoft going: "Oh crap, we've pumped all this money into Hell's Highway but don't have a Wii version! And we can't port it due to the hardware! Quick, make something up!" And then, in true Ubi-on-the-Wii style, gave it no budget, little development time to work out the numerous bugs, and no advertising.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

Classic Ubisoft, well done. But what's the point of this Thread?

But they announced it a long time ago, so they had the opportunity to actually put some effort into it. The end result however seems to indicate they made it in a few weeks time and then kept it on the shelve to wait until it could release alongside Hell's Highway.

This.  (Of course, if we have to explain the joke, it's not good anymore...)

Super World Cup Fighter II: Championship 2010 Edition

I love ubisoft. Maybe I should try this one out, could not be worse than any games I've played for wii. Remember, reviewers are biased!
