I don't think so... I'd say the PS3 will sell around 20k. It will also be ahead of the 360 but not because of japan but because it will be ahead in US/Europe.



I am a Gamer... I play games and not consoles. I have a PC and Console on which I game... I like games. End of Story!

Besides the 360 outselling the PS3 in weekly Japanese sales for two months (8 weeks) straight? Not much

After seeing the first day numbers for Little Big Planet I hope they don't even beat the 360.

It should look like this:

Wii - 27,000
360 - 11,550 (GTA boost)
PS3 - 7,800 (LBP + GTA + 80GB boost)

Japan obviously has no desire to purchase PS3's. The first game that has been taylored to their liking in the last 7 months comes out and it moves less that GTA. If they do not want quality games in Japan then Sony may as well just discontinue the system for them. Why waste your time and make games for these people if they are not going to buy them. Sony needs to go buy back all the systems they have sold so far in Japan and destroy them.

For the rest of the world they can go ahead and start making some real crappy games. I have this idea for a game that has a blue background and red 2 circles. When you hit the X button they combine to make a heart. It would have about 23 levels, and that is the extent of the gameplay. It will last about 2 hours because, most of the time you hit the X button and nothing happens. After you beat the last level another circle will appear, making way for a sequal were they all come together to make a heart. It symbolizes world peace, and is something the whole family can enjoy.



Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Sorry I can't see it happening.

I admit there should be a jump in H/W sales I can't see it doing a Wii kill. For it to outsell the Wii in Japan it would need to be FREE for the first week LBP is released...and I can't see that happening!

OH and as mentioned before, MGS is a proven game. LBP apperas to be unique - but that doesn't mean it will push H/W sales into the Squillions...
