It depends. I'm not a company loyal. I will probably wait 1 year to see who offer what and just then I will made my choice. If next XBOX is going to have good compatibility with 360 games this is going to be a big + for it.

Well I don't think it is going to be an issue because they will bother getting a 3rd party to make the graphics card (I think that was the problem) which should solve the problem. They will spend ages testing them to make sure they don't overheat. I think the PS2 had problems at launch, and for most people (not me, I am on my 3rd PS3) they made up for it by making the PS3 really well

I'll buy the most sucessful console next gen, and also the second most sucessful. Apart of that I'll get a Wii2 just because of Zelda/Mario/Metroid series, no matter if it is the most sucessfull or the worst.

It's still really annoying, and generally it takes a few weeks to get the xbox back, though that may vary from country to country. What happens if in another 3 years it gets RRoD? Then you would be annoyed

The amount of progress Microsoft have made between origional xbox and 360 is astonishing, Its very likely that i would get the next xbox and would purchase it near the consoles release date. (i didn't get a 360 until 16 months after it's release)

Maybe. I'll not if Wii-2 got some decent graphics.

Seems most folks are happy enough to stick with x box.

I just don't want the next xbox to come out in the next 3 years. I've invested so much in this gen already and with the new coming out in 3 years I might as well already start saving up for that as well as its likely to exceed £400.

Yeah, most likely I will. Unless they are going to get too casual, then I will just buy a new pc. :)
