Bioshock and Eternal Sontana for the ps3 BOTH bombed and sales were unexpected and very low, were they worth the porting money???

They might have bombed on the PS3 but they sold pretty well on the 360.

Microsoft can afford to offer extra value to its customers and will continue to do so by looking at how things are currently. Exclusive DLC for Fallout 3\Tomb Raider, Timed exclusive on Last Remnant....

So from your side of the fence it looks like its a bad idea.

But from my side of the fance it is bloody fantastic!

From a company point of view in terms of buisness\profitability.....Who can say, and quite frankly, who cares...MS loves us ;) more than Sony can afford to love you I'm sorry to say.

if any game isnt a system seller, and has no specific console importance then it should be multiplat

last gen is last gen, games like ff13 and dmc and tekken are no longer console spicific and if i was developer i would make all games multiplat unless they are signed and developed as exclusive

sony is on the correct ball, as they are spending thier cash to bring new titles out instead of dl content and timed exclusives

One of the reasons why companies are willing to also do timed exclusives is cause the 360 and the PS3 architecture is so completely different. By putting it out on one they then have months later to optimize it for the other console

Well it has shown that the platform which gets an old port dont succed so hopefully it wont in the future also its bad for the companies if they are hoping for a certain game to sell well.

The Last Remnant is a timed exclusive and so will be SO4.
