So there it is a very simple question, what game do you think will see the most success in terms of sales this holiday season? There are a lot of games coming out, and a lot of them are very hyped, but I don't think anyone will be able to match Wrath of the Lich King's sales, simply because it's an expansion pack to a game which has over 11 million owners, and which is supposedly bringing a lot of much expected changes. It will be big.

Depends, BC wasn't released at the same time in China as the rest of the world.

That is very true, but even in just the US/Latin America it should come out to be a decent hit. Everyone on all the servers I'm playing on is hyping this beyond belief. Anyways, then what game do you think will sell the most?

Either Gears of War 2, Wii Music or Wii Fit.

This is a rather easy question. Gears Of War 2 will probably sell about 8 mill LT. I think by Dec 31 it will have sold 6.3 mill. Fable 2 probably 3 mill and 3rdly R2 2 mill. LBP I expect 1.3 mill with 2.5 mill LT.

Edited post. Just realised that Halo 2 sold 5 mill in 3 weeks.

It's going to be a fight between Gears 2 and WOTLK but we won't know the outcome as this site doesn't track PC sales...

I think WOTLK will do 4-5 millions( WOTLK sales will be very frontloaded, people don't want to wait 2 months to buy an expansion when their friends/guilds have it) or so, not sure Gears2 can do that much before December the 31st....( but probably will lifetime)

Hell, this works. Wii Fit outselling Gears 2 would be hysterical, but I'll put money on it being one of them.

Good predictions. My money is on Gears2 if WOTLK doesn't manage to do it, however I found this:

Blizzard Entertainment's second expansion to World of Warcraft -- Wrath of the Lich King -- will be in stores on November 13 in North America, Europe, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Russia, and on November 14 in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia. The expansion will be available in Korea and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau on November 18, and the launch timing for China will be announced at a later date.

I'm justwondering if this will be enough to give it a good oomph, even without China. BC sold 3.5 mil in it's first month (2.4 on opening day), but back then there were not as many subscribers, and I know some people are resubscribing once WOTLK comes out, so we will see how it goes.
