The phrasing implies that this is unique to games.
It isn't.
Men and women will continue to be portrayed as sex objects in all media so long as they are perceived as such.

As long as there is a fanbase for them that will buy the games, they will continue to exist.
Men are very sexual and women are far less, hence why women are much more heavily portraid as sex objects by ALL media not only games.

What? It is quite factual that men have a much higher sex drive than women in general. I wasn't being sexist, I merely gave an explanation as to why women in media (especially porn) are far more objectified.
