These two things should automatically prove that this is a joke.

10 year life cycle again? Oh boy. The PS3 can pass the 360, but not due to the 10 year life cycle.

How is this not believable? if the 360 ends it's life before the PS3 that does not mean the gen is automatically over. It means that the 360 sales will drop and the PS3 sales will rise. if they make the horrible mistake of taking their system off the market before the PS3 calls it quits this gen then customers will be fairly angry. They dont want to spend money on two systems in one gen in the same line of console when they could spend money once for one that will last through both.

Mega lol. What's the point of it being PS3 exclusive when the 360 version of GTA IV sold more than the PS3 version? Anyone should know by now PS3 + 360 > PS3/360 individually.

GTAIV is a prime example of the  multiplatform myth failing. GTAIV sold less then San Andreas, one that made 80% of it's sales on PS2. It is not to outrageous to geuss if the game was exclusive to PS2 the entire time then that number of sales on 360 would have been added on top of the PS2 sales numbers. And of course GTAIV sold more on 360. 360 has exclusive content which gave it the slight edge. If I had both systems then I would be inclined to buy the version that broadens the experience the most.

Even though the DL content ploy worked in 360's favor it still failed. GTAIV for 360 didnt sell more by much really and the 360 version of the game is returned at least 2 times more so then tradeded in versions for PS3. That means the PS3 gamers are more into it(brand loyalty). GStop sells games used for both systems without having to split it with game developers. This means that because the 360 version gets more in used that less people are likely to buy it new for 360 as they can get it cheaper used. That means that only about half of 360's GTAIV fanbase can enjoy the DLC at all, not even saying they all will. This shows that the content would have probably done better on PS3 in the first place.....

Not to mention that R* has promised Sony an Exclusive game this gen, not yet anounced. And some times game developers do the right thing and choose quality game oveer most profitable game(Hideo Kojima). Blu Ray would most assuredly have an advantage over DVD if used fully that the 360 simply could not replicate. Have you not noticed that GTAIV lacks alot of things that San Andreas had? This was a huge let down with fans of the series. I hypothesis that it was restricted space that led to this as it had to fit on DVD to be MP. Rockstar seems to want to get back in Sony's good graces for one reason or another, I don't pretend to know why.

I highly doubt this would happen, however I do see Rockstar benefitting huge by this. Not the exclusivity itself, but having both Microsoft and Sony shell out big bucks each to keep the title on their consoles. Microsoft has already showing willingness to pay for games, and Rockstar can use this to manipulate there way into more money.

I will say this though, a lot of those the hiphopgamer mentioned are not as far-fetched as they may seem.
