Forums - Gaming Discussion - washimul's PS3 desperation

r2007 said: do other console soccer games makes you tie the controller to your ankle? you can use the wiimote in your hand. really.
You've got to admit, though, it would be pretty damn sweet if someone made some football boots with Wii technolgy incorporated and you could kick it around your game room. Add in 11 players per team online and that would be some kind of experience! Unfortunately, it'd probably only come out in Japan

You really don't understand this... It's not a chip, it's a bank of EDRAM - notice how it has the acronym RAM in it. It basically provides a very, very high speed framebuffer that allows the Xenos to do things like AA without a speed penalty. It's far from useless and it gives the Xenos a big advantage over the RSX. This is why many PS3 games have no AA whereas every 360 game has 4x AA.

I was playing with my TVs and seeing AA. Unless I'm sitting 2 feet from my screen I barely notice it. Unless I'm sitting 4 feet. I have to stop moveing and start looking. Unless I'm sitting 5 feet... I cant see any jaggies. :) And yes, it is a LCD.

Besides "I" was referring to behavior across many sites not here, I find the majority of people here passionate without being obnoxious. As for your reasoning most sony fans talk about games. The history of the playstation line is undeniable. In terms of gameplay, graphics and overall funfactor the playstation line has brought steady gems. I own a wii and as far as I am concerned the best games for the wii right now consists of multiplayer type action. Raving rabbids, elebits, wii sports, wario smooth moves and the soon to come Smash bros. The only game that seems to be fun on your own is zelda. So I am not saying the Wii can "only" do party games but it excels at party games just like the 360 excels at online gameplay. But what if your the type of player that plays games by yourself? What if you get tired easily of ladder climbing, CTF's, DM's and all out skirmishes. Which console in the past has provided an amazing single player experience along with multiplayer games? The games are what "gamers" should be focused on and since I have played across the board (and still continue to do so) we can throw debates all day. I will give you "MY" opinions on games instead of some repeated opinion off of a website. I will concede when the matter comes down to issues of taste and appeal but I know for a sheer fact that people who have played all the systems would have to admit that the PS line strongest feature was its game library and the fans are excited to see how these next gen graphics are going to change the games.
Actuly like the post...and the most of yours so far as I have read. My answer was more too Kwaad, which I think sometimes more is screaming about how cool looking the hardware is But mostly I am hunting washimul who is plaging this site with caps and bold statemant about the hardware instead of PS3 games. Or when he actuly is showing anything from a game he isn't showing anything about the gameplay no info at all. Heck I don't mind when you discuss PS3 games, and I do belive that the will be great games coming for the PS3, but for the moment I don't see that their is any system seller out. Which I think PS3 needs By the way I have always said that I don't belive that Sony will fail, but I have stated that I think that they have failed during the launch period much because of the high price. It will be intresting to see the long run. I mean Playstation is a brand that have sold over 100 million consols two generations in a row. The low sales now can for me only depend of the price, I mean they should have a fan base of at least 20 million players that can propell the system for at least 1 year, but I can belive that these persons have problem with the financial part. For the moment I personally must say (and this comes from a nintendo fan) that I can't understand why people want to buy a Wii. The fun games is not their yet, but I guess that Wii Sport and a low price makes people use their wallets.

I notice Aliasing, not AA, 10ft from my tv. And yes, it's a 1080p lcd.
