So you're saying, with a straight face, that you expect FFXIII to break ten million units - maybe twelve by the time it comes out.

FF XIII will be great, but I don't think it's as big as it used to be.

I seriously can't believe people name FFXIII and God of War 3...

Gran Turismo is possible as it did great in the past but the best selling Final Fantasy game didn't make 10 millions. GTA IV will likely sell 12-14 millions so even if FFXIII sells as much as FFVII, it won't beat GTA. As for GoW 3....... I don't have anything to say.

That depends what the OP means.  On one console or not..

Unless the game is being released multiplatform ... GTA IV should be king until GTA V comes out.

There is no game between now and the release of GTA V that can top 1 day sales or life time sales.

Also how can GT5 even compare ... currently there are 16 Million PS3 consoles sold ... If GTA IV stopped selling tomorrow (which will not happen), GT5 will have to have an attach rate of ~75% ... THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY. Even if we assume GT5 was the best system seller game, then these people will end up buying a copy of GTA IV down the road anyway.

I think the episodic content will give GTAIV another boost. So it's hard to tell where it'll eventually end up in terms of sales.

it's hard to say being we don't know what every game that will be released this gen is. you never know what the next monster game is going to be or when it will come out. Who knew 3 years before haol came outy it was going to be so huge. Hell, Who knew halo even existed. my point? you never know whats coming just around the corner till you get there.

FFVII Was only availabe on 1 platform.

considering the ps360 userbase will be large ff13 have a chance of outselling FFX.
and maybe 7.

assasing creed sold 7 million.

FF13 will pass that .

It's going to be GTA5 or possibly GT5 ONLY if it gets bundled for a long time.
