Forums - General Discussion - 52 Million HDTV Homes by 2008 in USA

No HD sets here (my personal TV is a 27" Panasonic SDTC), none of my content is HD (local or satellite), and I won't put money towards an LCD or Plasma because of their respective problems.

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

Around the Network

1. No
2. Unlikely within a year unless a 40" falls below $500.
3. 40"

No
None next year
most likely a 40" or higher

Whoa, that's pretty crazy. Very few people have an HDTV in Finland, and no video store carries BR or HD-DVD yet. We're the country where everyone had cell phones before the rest of the world, mind you, not some poor third world country.

I mean they are american, 40% of them don't even know the sun is a star lol.

Well there are some "call this number on your cell and you get a drink"-type vending machines, and it's possible to access your bank account through a net-capable mobile devices, but I don't know what you mean aside from that.

Running into a lake straight from the sauna is a totally normal pastime activity for people of all healths and ages.
I can't understand why anyone would find it odd. ^^
