i'm only getting this game for the headset.

The only problem is the online....because so many people have and swarmed the servers. That's the ONLY flaw they found (which does hurt gameplay) but that can be patched or servers can be reorganized.

SOCOM isn't a bad game ala Haze, the online just needs to be tweaked

It was released days ago and yet there are only 3 reviews on Metacritic.

This related back to my first point "Wasn't this a big PS3 exclusive?" Essentially the review scores had nothing to do with the fact that hardly anyones talking about it, after seeing this game 100s of times in the "list wars" and hardly any reviews are out.

The reviews aren't out because the servers are broken and it's an online-only game. I'm guessing a lot of reviewers are waiting a week or so for the problem to be fixed before sending a review forward. This should explain your bolded comments.

Zipper are working on MAG , socom 4 won't see the light anytime soon

Well hopefully they fix the game .

Well thats probably killed a lot of the sales then. Games, especially hardcore games are made/broken on the first week.
