that's great considering Resistance and Motorstorm have been out for almost 2 years and MGS4 has been out for 4 months.

not really considering it was bundled everywhere. and sales show it was only selling b/c of bundles. just check Americas sales of MGS4 before and after the bundling to find out.

Bundles sell consoles, not games.
Sure, as long as it has a miracle boost before mid-November, it can be top exclusive. However, LBP is going to shoot up immediately, and Res 2 probably will as well. I'd say both will cross the 3 mil mark by year end.
Why are there 12 million PS3 owners who don't have MGS4? I'm going to make a thread about that.
Don't count on it, MGS4 only topped Motorstorm by 1000 sales last week.

Depends on the quality of the sequel, the size of the userbase, and the marketing.
Halo 2 and Call of Duty 4 come to mind...
OT: I wish MGS4 would trump these other crappy games. MGS4 >>>>>>>>>>> RFOM, GTAIV, and MS.
motorstom and resistance are selling well cuz they GH..wait untill mgs4 is GH and it will passed them
emmmm no....MGS4 is not going to be Ps3 top seller (exclusive)
03/10/09 HUGE day in my life:
LBP is, sorry, Mgs4 already over. A new game has arrived!............................next week that is.
MGS4 may reign supreme for a few months, but by summer next year LBP should be the top seller.
It's all about the game.
