so far it seems like little big planet got 96 metacritic rating however i do believe it may go up higher. Mainly because knowing xplay it will give it a 5/5 = 100% so it can go up will it be awsome if it get a higher score then gta4

Generally the more reviews something gets the lower the score drops (with some fluctuations of course)
Perhaps the rumours are true and those reviewers that get games early are paid to give higher scores.
