And explain how most 3rd party games run better on the X360? I'm sure the developers put much more effort on the 360 version, but still...

 because the architecture is very different between the two.. and 3rd parties know how to develop on the XBOX 360, they barely do on the PS3.

This is changing though, most if not all EA games recently released run better on the PS3, thanks to the developers getting used to the hardware.

Again... the PS3 doesn't have 8 or 7 cores.

Is a single core with 7 SPE's... way different than 7 cores.
