Are you joking? Mobile Phone games are HUGE in Japan. There are a lot more game ready cellphones in Japan then handheld consoles.

Core has an edge, but Crystal Bearers might be a surprise.

If Core was an RPG I'd say Core easily, but since it's not an RPG and it is a totally different genre but is still an FF game then it's not as clear. I think both will sell well.

The PSP Final Fantasy games haven't really done all that great. Sure they have been ports but still you would think the Final Fantasy fan base would be jumping all over them. also as vanguardian1 and LeroyBrown mentioned after the last Final Fantasy VII spin-off I don't think a lot of people are going to jump on to another right away.

Also, I don't think this is going to be much of a issue but how much fire power is left in the FFVII series? I know a lot of people who are really starting to get burnt out on it and wish Square would just stop milking it.

Anyways I'm pretty much in the same boat. But I can't predict too well with the erratic PSP sales.

I hope Crystal Bearers as I'm sick and tired of Square Enix whiping out the entire image of FFVII being a special game on the PSX and showing it a cash in serie... it makes me sick! Besides FFVII itself I've NEVER played any of those spin off games and am not planning it either.

The "whoring" out of FFVII did seem to be one of Square's lower moments during the lull between FFX and FFXII.
