Forums - Sony Discussion - Am I the only PS3 owner NOT excited about LBP?

No, this isn't another anti-LBP thread, nor am I going to tell anyone what sucks about LBP.

For some reason, I'm just not anymore as excited to play LBP as any other game coming out this month. The great critic reviews, marketing and gamer hype is not doing anything for me. I'll still buy the game (not on midnight), but personally I wouldn't really care if it got delayed or pushed back.

Who else is with me here?

no, I want it day 1

No one probably! Learn to embrace the cute and the fun!

Actually I can quite understand not being excited about LBP - but be prepared to be in a pretty small minority my friend.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Me.  The game looks like it has potential, but I'm not really excited about it.

I am not with you. Ultimately, Resistance 2 will get the bulk of my attention but I can't wait to buy Little Big Planet.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

No, we expected you to think like everyone else. It is baffling that you have a different opinion than other people. Scream it from the rooftops.

I think you are pretty much alone, if you dont want to go aaaaaaaah (not argh!) when you see a sackboy, then there is a problem

No I am not excited about it aswell. Their is to much to be excited about it.

I feel like that a tiny bit. I didn't by into the hype, but I do like the game. It's a game worth playing and enjoying.
How can you resist the cute, adorable little creatures!!!

lol...but I changed my mind about getting it first day. I just bought Uncharted: Drake's Fortune on the PS3. I am about to enjoy this quest. I like the gameplay videos of the game and loved the demo. This game will certainly be sucking some PS3 time away from me. So LittleBigPlanet wouldn't have that much play time. Because I prefer shooters over platformers.

So a late purchase is more likely for me.

I'm not frothing for it or anything, but I am buying it near it's launch. My kid watched some of the "Life of a Sackboy" trailers on the PSN, and she's going crazy for this game. I may not make many levels, but I'm going to be a download-aholic.
