Forums - PC Discussion - I'm getting back in to PC gaming... any recommendations on solid gaming PC?

I'm finally doing it. I'm getting back in to PC gaming for the first time in at least 4 years. Can someone help me out by letting me know what is the best route for getting myself a respectable gaming PC? I don't want to spend thousands. I know there are some people on this site that can give me a heads up, and I would really appreciate the help.

Thanks in advance.

^ If you know how to build your own computer...which isn't that much harder than making something out of legos.

Build it.

You can build one for like 700-900$, thats probably more powerful then a computer thats 3000$.

Decide if you want to buy or build

If you want to build search on google for computer building advice then search for parts on newegg.com, tigerdircet.com and slickdeals.net.

If you want to be lazy just search around slickdeals.net for some computer sale ($4-500) that has a 350W powersupply and slap a nice videocard in there, you'll have a computer capable of playing new releases for the next couple years.

I'm going to build. Thanks for the heads up.
