Remember the Gamecube days! Hard times for Nintendo fans to stand their grounds! People telling them that PS2 was crushing their 'lunchbox' and the superior Xbots were playing Halo with people in US online.

Not much support from 3th parties!... Where was our Halo?! Our GT?! Our FF?! We didn't even have GTA...! Rockstar refused to bring it to Nintendo's 'more kiddy' system! God did i hate that! I didn't want to pay 150$ just to play GTA... So i didn't have a GTA!... I played it at friends houses yeah. But i wanted a rockstar game! Every rockstar game is like a Blizzard or Nintendo game! Almost never a bad game!

But then came Nintendo's 'new' console! Different from the others! No updates in graphics! But enchanced controlls! And it SOLD! At 9.3 mil a.t.m. With PS3 scrambling behind, struggling to get to 4 mil which resulted in a price-cut! X360 already at ~10.5 mil has also become a 'health' next-gen system. Reggie said! WE WANT ROCKSTAR TO MAKE GTA WII! They BEGGED Take2 and Rockstar. And when the Wii sold really well! The announcements came pouring in!... Even from Rockstar(!!!)

Manhunt 2 (arguably one of the most brutal games in history) was heading to Wii!

Then a few days ago came Table tennis! (Which i had hoped for in the beginning)! And that game is really good! Don't underestimate it!

And now! Out of the blue! Comes an 'updated' version of BULLY (Also known as Canis canem edit) With enchanced graphics! Wii controlls. More gameplay. Bigger environements. Better detail! And it's for Wii and X360 (No PS3?! They could port it from X360 couldn't they?! Or wouldn't it make enough profit with 'only' ~3.7 mil units sold?!).

Now i know you guys saying... Ah again a PS2 port... Yeah! But the other two aren't! And with this big of a support from Rockstar/Take2 the future looks promising for a GTAWii or a totally new IP from Rockstar (Possibly sandbox based?!)

But what i found more worrying: Where are the PS3 games from Rockstar... PS3 looks like Gamecube in that way! The only difference is GTA4.... But that game was announced before the PS3 was actually in stores! That game was announced in the thought that the PS3 would do REALLY WELL, just like its predecessors did! This hasn't happened. And GTA4 is still coming to PS3... And X360! But NO new announcements have made! And hearing that Manhunt 2 isn't going to PS2's big brother! But Nintendo's Wii! Is worrying for PS3-Rockstar future games.

E.i.g: Good for Nintendo to have BIG Rockstar support! But it's looking like PS3 is heading in the Gamecube way (Which is worrying since Nintendo had a system on which they made profit on from the beginning, which is why they ended up having more revenue then Sony with the PS2... And they are selling the PS3 with losses, or at least they did... And now with the Price-cut are doing so again! And the CELL development!)

I would personally like to see a GTA Wii with full use of the Miis. The game would come with a set of pre designed miis but the player would be able to fully customize each mii making the world as varying in Miis as the player wanted. But that's my vision of GTA for the Wii. I bet it would sell millions on the Wii too.... Oh well a man can dream.

I don't see this so much as Rockstar jumping ship, I think they're just playing the field like everyone else who for the most part are still too chicken shit to put their main franchise games on the Wii. It seems like everyone wants to make money off the Wii but not commit to it.

I have no doubt that GTA will head to the WII. Give it time. In the moment they couldn't announce that without pissing MS and Sony and may hurting their GTA 4 sails on both systems. Heck GTA 4 PC is not announced yet, but will properly come sometime.

I say GTA is coming to the WII in the time from Aug. 08 - Sept. 09. Depending on how got its selling on the other systems and how long it takes them to do a engine which looks similar (for the programmer, not the graphics) to their existing one for GTA. They may need to "downsize" some things, but there is plenty money on the table for them if they do. And Rockstar is not that stupid not to get that.

I think it IS jumping ship: Yes GTA4 is coming to PS3 alright... But it was announced BEFORE it came in stores! Assuming PS3 would do as well as PS1 and PS2... Now: All of their announcements have been including Wii support and NO single NEW PS3 game! So i guess THEY ARE shifting!... Cause if PS3 won't start selling stronger! They will end up with only GTA4 for PS3 and nothing else from Rockstar! Cause they are too busy making Wii games (Just like they didn't bring games to Gamecube last-gen) Sabbie?! Dev's are hurrying to jump on Wi's ship! First with some ports! Just to make enough profit... Cause else they won't have profit during that year! End then come with exclusive, ground-up built or new IP games.

Rockstar are in the unfortunate position of needing to make a profit. Even with all the GTA games (and more), they have been struggling over the last couple of years.

And with Ninty ruling the market at the moment, its a no brainer. Look at the PS2 support (heaps).

Now its the Wii's turn.

Now I just need more gaming time & disposable income...
