Why is bbsin on a Dead Space promotion-tour anyway ? Does he feel the game needs more attention? I think it already receives enough *yawn*.

Deadspace is a gem that's buried under much more hyped games such as LBP, Fable, Gears, etc. Does it NEED more attention? no. Does it DESERVE more attention? Hell yeah.

Not everyone is a fan of both genres.

 

SO?!? If you let a hotdog fan choose between a shit flavored hotdog and a delicious hamburger, I bet the hotdog lover would pick the hamburger. Besides, there are plenty of "sandbox" elements in Deadspace. For example, you could play ZeroG basketball, you could play anti gravity jumper, you could fix doors, etc.

2. Saint's Row 2 is not a "shit flavored hotdog"

 

1. What? name me another sand box game that allows the player to play zero G basketball and fix broken doors? The concept is brilliant and innovative, the best part is that dead space isn't even a sandbox game but still offers the elements. Does Saint's Row 2 offer survival horror elements? I think not.

2. Literally, no. but figuratively?

BTW: Tera Patrick looks weird in that game.

Actually, There is the Zombie Hunter mini-game in Saints Row 2, so technically... It does have survival horror elements.
