So when I go to "My Pictures" folder, ever since yesterday I have found a link there that when I open it...firefox opens and this is in the sitebar.

file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Yoshimar/My%20Documents/My%20Pictures/about.Brontok.A.html

I delete the file and 5 minutes later its there again.

What do I do?

I think you can delete it and then go into the Recycle Bin and permanently delete it...Hope that helps...

EDIT: I just checked on my Recycle Bin...If you wanna delete something I think you have to permanently delete everything from your recycle bin...:(

Dude, you have a worm on your PC.

First, download this:

http://www.geocities.com/teddy_baykard/BrontokRemover.html

Then, boot your PC in safe mode:

Window Key + "R", Type in "msconfig". Under "boot tab" select "safe mode" and apply; reboot your computer, it will start up in safe mode.

Run the Brontok remover, it will destroy the worm.

The worm basically disables folder options, disable your registry editor and restarts the system when the registry is implemented. The tool will destroy the worm and rid you of the problem. Let me know when it's killed, good luck :)

Download the Kaspersky trial version and it should clear out any viruses/spyware you have in no time.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

i have "avg" and it solved the problem once but it kept coming back everytime i restart my pc , here is what u have to do :
scan ur pc for viruses worms and to make sure that u completely solved it open ur control panel > scheduled tasks > delete the unusual or abnormal tasks

I'd mix as many well-known spyware-checkers and anti-virus and see if it solves the problem.

If not, I'd do the "easy" thing...reformat your PC.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I'd do this first. If it doesn't work

symantec has some of the best instructions for manually removing almost every virus/worm/trojan
