The Greatest Game Ever Conceived On Any Platform

Too bad they don't use our numbers for some of the other stuff...but it's good to see the site's getting around.
LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
Interesting that they used us for NA but not for Japan; and that they used Enterbrain for Japan but not NPD for the US.
AÂ guy working for Enterbrain, NPD and Wedbush just registred to bash VGChartz. Oh well...
yea i checked the comments out,
an employee of enterbrain getting upset about vgchartz just shows how popular the site is getting, everyones afraid..everyone
*evil laughter*
cool, although this doesn't change the general negativity of this site from most major sites.
TheBigFatJ said: It seems that Sony and MS really work to muddy the numbers on how successful they're being. They use words that have specific meanings to them, and the opposite meaning to everyone else. They say, 'sold' to refer to shipped, effectively, or in Sony's case, 'shipped' to refer to 'sent to warehouse'. While they're not technically wrong, they certainly use that wording in an effort to make people misunderstand the level of success they're having. |
Of couse, if it weren't for the fact that every Wii currently shipped is also sold within days, you'd probably see Nintendo also making confusing statements. But they just happen to be in a situation right now where that isn't the case.
