Despite rumours playstion's official website has now revealed that SONY would be having a press conference on the 9th October (Japanese time). At the same time playstation Japan confirms that SONY would be staging a joint conference with Level 5 on the 10th October ,2008.

This means that SONY's conference is scheduled to begin hours from now in terms of pacific time
